Join us on a Carnival of Flowers Progressive Dinner

We are so excited to be hosting two fantastic progressive foodie tours as part of this years Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. That’s two great chances to sample some of the best dining Toowoomba has to offer.
Both tours include your bus travel to each destination with our friends at Stonestreets Travel, 3 courses of delicious food and a couple of matched wines along the way. What’s not to love?

There are two events this year and the details & mouthwatering menus are:
Friday: 28th September – 5.15pm to 8.45pm
CANAPÉS – URBAN GROUNDS CAFÉ
Drinks – Glass of wine or beer
Food: Canapés of haloumi and cherry tomato skewers coated in a quince glaze, baby courgette & corn tarts, and house made meatballs with a spicy barbeque glaze
MAIN MEAL – INBOUND RESTAURANT
Drinks – Glass of Shiraz Cabernet or Sauvignon Blanc
Food – Seared fillet of Darling Downs beef, caramelised onion tart, port wine jus OR slow roasted local pork belly, smooth green apple and jus (alternate drop)
All served with house bread and seasonal vegetables
DESSERT – ENCORES RESTAURANT
Drinks – Glass of dessert wine
Food – Dessert plate consisting of petite artisan Italian doughnuts with a berry compote, complimented with a vanilla panna cotta, fruit jelly and macadamia praline, served with white chocolate and raspberry ice cream

Saturday 29th September – 5.15pm to 9pm
CANAPÉS – COBB & CO MUSEUM
Drinks – Glass of white wine, sparkling wine or beer
Food – Canapés of tomato, roasted capsicum & basil bruschetta with balsamic glaze, roast pumpkin, sage, pine nut and taleggio arancini, and gourmet black angus beef slider with balsamic caramelised onions and handmade beetroot relish
MAIN MEAL – GIP’S RESTAURANT
Drinks – Glass of beer, red wine or white wine
Food – Roast lamb loin, baby carrots, beetroot puree, smoked yoghurt & dukkah OR pan seared Tasmanian salmon with green pea & fennel risotto cake & salsa verde (alternate drop)
All served with seasonal greens and dinner rolls
DESSERT – PICNIC POINT
Drinks – Glass of dessert wine
Food – Dark chocolate & violet torte, macerated raspberries, vanilla ricotta & raspberry sorbet
