ParisiAnn Patisserie

Sometimes we have the good fortune of finding little eateries tucked away in unassuming locations that serve the most cracking food! Thats exactly what we discovered at ParisiAnn Patisserie. Owners Mark & Annie White opened ParisiAnn Patisserie about 5 months ago in the little Mort Estate Shopping Village on West St Toowoomba. Mark is a Chef and true industry professional with experience working in restaurants from the 5 star Hilton Hotel to Whitsunday Island Resorts and let me tell you this guy can cook…anything!PPast 9 So what did we try? We did mention that this is a Patisserie so the cabinets are pretty much full of the most delectable pastries you could imagine. They looked so tempting to be honest it was hard not to dive straight in to a mouth-watering Chocolate Cheesecake or crème brulee straight up, but constraint won out in the end and we decided to order from the menu. I chose one of the daily specials Mushrooms on toast $7 and my friend opted for Quiche Lorraine fresh from the oven w garden salad $12. The mushrooms on toast dish was excellent. Mushrooms on toast you say…really? Yes really, the mushrooms were perfectly cooked with a hint of garlic and served on freshly toasted Pani de Casa w grilled halloumi and flat leaf parsley, just superb! PPast 1My guests Quiche included ham, fresh eggs, a hint of cream and the flakiest pastry ever>Dessert time and we finally get to choose our selection from the cabinet. Today it was the chocolate mud cake which was rich but not overly heavy on the sugar and beautifully balanced. We also shared the banoffee pie which was light and oh so moreish…so good in fact that we ordered more to take home.PPast10 ParisiAnn Patisserie is a little place you must try. Mark & Annies passion for food is contagious. Their menu is changing constantly with delectable pastries, excellent Dimattina coffee, Gourmet burgers and wraps on offer as well as their special in house $10 Brekky, superb value! You will find ParisiAnn Patisserie at 87 West St in Toowoomba.
